Claire joined SBK Financial in 2007. As a partner at the Richmond-based firm, she specializes in legacy wealth relationships including portfolio construction, trust and estate planning, coordination of independent trustee services and family financial governance.

Previously Claire was a senior vice president and high net-worth client advisor for SunTrust Banks, Inc. She also served as a financial counselor for many high net-worth Richmond families and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry.

The opportunity to provide independent wealth management services without conflict of interest drew Claire to SBK a decade ago, and she remains committed today to the value and authenticity of the business model, citing the quality of people on the team, the integrated services SBK delivers, and the caliber of clients the firm attracts.

A graduate of Hollins University and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Claire has been a long-time member of the Financial Planning Association of Virginia and the Estate Planning Council of Richmond Virginia.

When she’s not working, Claire enjoys being active and spending time in the Blue Ridge mountains with her husband and two daughters. A little-known fact about Claire is that she once played at Carnegie Hall with America’s Youth in Concert program.
